Simplifying Page Creation: A No-Code Solution for Business Users at Innoloft
Request & Receive
In 2023, facing the chaos of managing and maintaining countless landing and event pages for our customers, I took on the challenge of designing a solution. Over nearly two years, I led the end-to-end design of the No-Code Page Builder - one of the biggest new feature brought to the product in years. As a result, we decided to create a built-in tool within LoftOS that would empower users to build their own public web pages without any coding knowledge.

Research
To ensure we deeply understood the problem and delivered the best possible solution, I began by conducting extensive research. This involved analyzing every existing customer website to identify the most frequently used templates, common content patterns, and essential components. I then documented these findings section by section, creating a clear foundation for defining user needs and shaping the product experience.

I continued the research by analyzing all potential use cases within the platform and identified three primary scenarios for LoftOS Pages. The first was public or landing pages for external projects. The second included internal pages that required top and side navigation for internal news and blog updates. Finally, the third use case involved module landing pages, where users could create standalone pages connected to dynamic platform content such as events and groups.
User research and problem discovery
To uncover the root of the problem, we conducted in-depth research focusing on user pain points. Interviews and in-app feedback painted a clear picture: many users felt frustrated and restricted, relying heavily on developers or struggling with tools that demanded technical expertise. What they truly wanted was simple—an effortless way to create and manage web pages on their own, without hitting technical roadblocks.
Competitive analysis
To better understand the landscape, we analyzed leading no-code platforms such as Shuffle, Squarespace, and Tilda, focusing on the features that made them accessible to non-technical users. Alongside this, a competitive analysis was conducted to identify common UX patterns, ease-of-use strategies, and approaches to customization. As part of the process, over 100 templates were reviewed to determine which layouts and structures would provide the most creative freedom for our MVP while keeping the experience simple and intuitive.
Defining the Foundation
This research laid the groundwork for both the information architecture and template strategy of the Pages module. By grounding our design decisions in real user behavior and proven industry patterns, we ensured the solution would meet actual needs, not assumptions. With these insights in place, I began sketching low-fidelity mockups to explore the structure and flow of the feature. This early visualization allowed us to quickly validate ideas and set the foundation for the high-fidelity design phase.
To determine the best editing approach, I designed three different versions for managing layers and sections, taking into account the constraints of our existing code base. After thorough discussions with the product manager, developers, and founders, we aligned on moving forward with a template-based solution. In this approach, users select a template and edit it directly within the editor, ensuring both flexibility for the user and technical feasibility for the team.
Solution
I designed the LoftOS Pages module, a flexible no-code tool that enables users to independently create and manage a wide range of webpages and landing pages without any technical knowledge. The module integrates seamlessly with the existing LoftOS ecosystem by leveraging reusable components.

AI image generator
Why AI image generator is helpful?
Finding or creating images can be difficult and time-consuming. This feature removes that hassle by offering users instant, high-quality images they can use right away. With AI-generated options, users can get visuals that look great and fit their project perfectly, all without needing design skills or extra tools. LoftOS image AI uses users text content they entered to their template and generates they best fitting image.
Conclusion
Designing the Pages module for LoftOS was a valuable opportunity to empower users with a true no-code experience. By deeply understanding user needs and focusing on simplicity, we created a tool that gives users full control over their content - without requiring technical knowledge. The outcome is a scalable, flexible solution that enhances the overall value of the LoftOS platform and lays the foundation for more customizable, user-driven experiences in the future.
